A professional equipping program that will empower members for effective ministry

Professors from the Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University under the auspices of the North American Division Evangelism Institute are offering some of the most comprehensive and practical classes ever to be presented directly to local conferences and churches.

There is an urgent need to provide proven training to help members become effective lay ministers in their local churches. The cry from members who want to be thoroughly equipped to go beyond average, as they fulfill their calling in their local churches, has exhausted resources both at the conference and the church levels. Lay convocations, conventions and other training events have left members with the desire for in depth, proven instruction that will help them gain the expertise to become successful in their ministries.


Choose individual classes that meet the needs for comprehensive equipping at your next event or select the certificate program that will address the equipping and involvement goals of your field.

Each class module consists of one, two or three weekend intensives, depending on the topic. Each weekend consists of 10 to 13 hours of training. Every class requires additional reading, and practical assignments that participants fulfill in their local churches.

Certificate programs offer a group of six classes that equip members to become proficient in the competencies required for the area of the certificate.

A large number of classes are available in Spanish and more will be added. Coming soon the Equipping University Español containing tracks for Spanish ministries.


Cost - There is a flat rate of $2000.00 per weekend session. This covers all travel expenses, teaching fees and NADEI expenses.

The cost does not include the syllabus, books for reading assignments or meeting facilities.
