What is ChurchWorks?
.

ChurchWorks is an official meeting sponsored by a local conference for pastors and a mission-focused leadership team of 10-12 from each church or district. These teams work together around tables creating a skeleton strategy, and upon returning home, are able to create and share the vision and continue to develop their plan for reaching every person in their territory for God.

The leadership team is to be chosen with intentionality. Its purpose is to create with the pastor the long-range and short-term mission strategy of the congregation. An ideal team would include such people as—

    Visionary, action leader
    Detailed, organizing person
    Deeply spiritual leader
    People-oriented person
    Equipping and training coordinator
    Ministries outreach coordinator
    Ministry Encouragement Partners coordinator
One or more persons of influence
Two or three responsible youth and young adults
